Always Advocate for Yourself

"Most importantly, always advocate for yourself." This was advice given to PEAK scholars by a UIC student giving a tour of campus. He emphasized that from researching scholarships, seeking writing help in the library, or tuning into on-campus events, there are many ways to take advantage of resources and maximize your college experience. PEAK scholars are now able to compare and contrast a medium-sized, private school like Loyola University Chicago with a larger, public university like UIC.
