PEAK Alum Named Director of Diversity & Inclusion at UIS

PEAK alum Justin Rose (HT '08) is living proof that the time PEAK mentors – like Justin's mentors Jody and Sally Moulton – invest in scholars can change the trajectory of a life. Today, as a doctoral candidate, Justin is preparing to lead the Diversity Center at University of Illinois at Springfield (UIS). In his recent interview featured in the UIS newspaper, he reflected on the impact of his PEAK experience and mentor/scholar relationship: “You can’t make it anywhere without any support, without others truly reaching out to help you," said Justin.

For Justin, a significant amount of that support came from his PEAK mentors Jody Moulton (National Representative for NPR Sponsorship) and Sally Moulton (Vice President of Executive Recruiting at Strategy Source). Since graduating from Holy Trinity High School in the top 20 of his class, Justin has earned a bachelor's degree in communications and a master's degree in public administration. We could not be more proud of Justin and pleased that he chose to highlight PEAK’s influence when telling his story.
