PEAK welcomes new staff members
We are pleased and excited to welcome two new team members to our staff:
Minha Osorio has joined the PEAK family as the new program manager! Minha is currently working for Holy Trinity High School as a substitute English teacher and is a favorite among the student body.
Minha (pictured at left) is passionate about making education equitable for students in Chicago. She studied secondary education and English at Lake Forest College and is currently continuing her education at Northeastern Illinois University. Both now and when working with students in the Waukegan School District 60 and CPS for more than three years, Minha's dedicated herself to promoting positive systemic change for high school students. Coupled with her experience in event coordination, Minha hopes to support the advancement of PEAK scholars, mentors, staff and families. Outside of work, Minha explores the Chicagoland area with her friends and two dogs.
Minha’s email is firstname.lastname@example.org
Some of you may have heard a very friendly new voice on the line recently. Tricia Munchalfen will be working with PEAK indefinitely in an operations/administrative role.
Tricia is an advocate for art, health and wellness. She has managed multiple franchises in the corporate world, but her core passion is education. With Tricia's more than 10 years experience as a dance teacher for adults and kids alike, we are lucky indeed to have her on board.
Tricia's email is email@example.com
We are grateful to our former team members Elizabeth McCreless and Alexis Armfield, who contributed their service to PEAK scholars with so much heart and enthusiasm -- not to mention, many a long day! Elizabeth is preparing for graduate school and Alexis has taken a position working with refugees, moving her closer to her dream of becoming an international human-rights lawyer. They will be missed by all of us!
